Floppy eared breeds are prone to ear infections so it is important to keep your puppers ears nice and clean and dry! Check your pups ears regularly and pluck any excess hair inside the ear canal, this is done by grasping a small group of hairs, twisting and pulling with a small amount of pressure. Do not worry, this is not painful for your pup and they often think you are just massaging their ears! If your pup has waxy or wet ears from swimming just squirt in some ear cleaning solution and massage. Make sure you do this outside because next comes the SHAKE which may result in a bit of a mess!
